When preparing for your newborn photo session in Hickory, NC, it's important to pack the essentials. Be sure to bring extra diapers, small ones work best, extra bottles, and wipes that you prefer. I do have wipes available as well. It's a good idea to pack a snack for yourself, and a cover for breastfeeding. We provide pillows and bottled water for your comfort.

Dress in layers as it can get warm, around 80 degrees during the session. A pacifier can be a game-changer for a smooth photo shoot. If you have other children, arrange for someone to take them on an adventure after the session, as they will only be included for a short time.

Bring a warm blanket for your baby and dress them in a gown or zip-up sleeper to avoid marks on their skin. It's also a good idea to pack a change of clothes for both parents in case of accidents. Feel free to bring a sonogram if you like.

Loose clothes for you and your baby's journey to and from the session will keep them comfortable. While I prefer newborns to wear my custom outfits, you can bring one if it's important to you. Make sure everything is packed and ready so you can relax and enjoy the session with your little one.
